I lasted about 15 minutes on the treadmill (running 5 of that - walking 10). Then I did a good upper body workout….
No, I didn’t make it today. I did some stuff around the house, and then went and a bought a Christmas Tree. It’s sitting on the floor in the living room now (artificial - prelit). My old tree was bought the year after we bought this house, which makes it 18 years old. I realized that most of the ornaments were early marriage and early kids, too - so it was just time. I haven’t replaced the ornaments yet, but I did buy some cutie-patootie cardinals….and a couple of other birdies….
I am not sure what else I want to do to the tree - but I needed a fresh start for some reason.
Maybe it’s the heartburn from my fajitas….or maybe….just….another kind of need…..
