When talking to the girls about the doctor visit, Em immediately told me that I needed to eat Cheerios.  Research has shown (and of course the advertisers picked up on) oat bran helping to lower cholesterol.  I did some research, and yes, according to the Mayo Clinic, eating Oatmeal (or Cheerios) daily will help.   [...]
