Today was one of those days that just fell into place. I think it’s because it started well in that I got the best sleep I’ve had in ages. Yes, I am traveling. No, I haven’t suddenly started sleeping well in hotels. My main client - who is building a large project - has leased corporate apartments…and consultants are able to use them, instead of hotels, at times.

At first, I thought it seemed….odd, but when I got here, I immediately felt at ease…and since I’ll be back next week, I made a visit to the grocery store and got some cereal and milk…some yogurt….and some body wash.

I don’t do soap, by the way. I like body wash. And as a side note….whoever has the place upstairs, though, walks really loud

But today, well, I began with a 7:30 am meeting at Starbucks over coffee and coffee cake….then to the job site, where I stayed until 5:30. Don’t get me wrong, it was a long day, but it was also…..pretty damned good. I think we got a lot accomplished.

I also got inspired to do some work related stuff for my business, and am looking forward to the weekend to get some of that ironed out. While I was at Starbucks ths morning waiting for the architect, I sat and wrote a bit…. I’ve been giving a lot of thought to my business and business plan…..
