how ’bout Da Boys

I grew up breathing devotion to the Dallas Cowboys. During the days that Tom Landry was the coach….and Roger Stabach was the quarterback….Sundays revolved around watching the game. But, since Jerry Jones purchased the Cowboys…the shine simply fell off of that silver star….
Now, when it comes to games, I don’t watch religiously…but of course, I’d like them to win….when it comes to play off games and such. And, of course, The Pilot Guy and I had a bet on the Cowboys and Bears earlier this year (which he owes me a t-shirt from Mt. Rushmore still….).
Sadly…the Cowboys lost….again…. I couldn’t go through the painful process of watching the game. Instead, I took my youngest to a movie. But when I was flipping channels, there was Terrell Owens (who I really don’t like) - on TV - crying….. ‘cause they lost today. Sigh……
So, the question by reporters - that made T.O. cry... was questioning Tony Romo’s performance flawed because of playing in Mexico with his girlfriend Jessica. I don’t know, to be honest, since I’ve only seen highlights of the game (it sounded painful to watch).
I can say, though, that in the days of Tom Landry, players kept a curfew and never appeared in public without a tie. That self discipline seemed to come through in their games……
