It looks beautiful out there

The forecast is calling for rain this afternoon, so I think I am going to go to an early movie downtown and I also am in the mood to gaze upon the Declaration of Independence, which isn’t too var from where the movie theatre is when it comes to the world of the DC Metro.
I never know how to dress in DC, though. I am in the mood for flirty dresses and such - but I haven’t decided if I am up to walking in the shoes that match said flirty dress….
I did sleep in this morning. I usually like to sleep with my curtains open and let the sun shine in - but last night, I knew I didn’t want to be up at 6 AM. I had a very leisurely breakfast here at the hotel. But instead of beginning in on the work I need to begin in on…I think I’m going to seize the lovely weather - and go - then hole up in the room when the rains start…
