It was one of those Road Warrior Days….

Most of it in the Admiral’s Club, again reminding me why on rare days like this I am so thankful for that investment. It was thunderstorms that did us in….and every single flight to my destination was canceled…so I re-routed to another airport close to where I needed to go.
Part of traveling regularly makes you understand that this is not the fault of the folks who work for the airline that the storms are incredible and it simply isn’t safe to operate the flights. It sucks, truly, but…getting upset with those folks doesn’t do anything for anyone, ya know?
After plans for a 6AM flight and a 10 AM destination to meetings….I ended up with a 5 PM flight that took off WHO knows when, and a 10 PM arrival into the hotel. I arrived in earlier, but since my luggage didn’t make it…..well….I had to go buy basics….
Today, will certainly be a better day…..speaking of which, I need to go. there is one more thing I need today….another pair of shoes ’cause my feet are killing me. And I think that Kohls opens at 8 AM…..
