I had planned on spending this weekend getting caught up on work.  Three meetings last week means three sets of minutes as well as the need to work on  a matrix.

But.  I didn’t.  I spent time with kiddos…and decided work wasn’t really…..in the forefront of my mind as much as it had been on Thursday night.  Isn’t it amazing how our sense of urgency dissipates a bit as we sleep?

I’m tired.  Mentally.  Emotionally.  Physically.  And my body needed sleep and rest and to not think.  Lee reminds me that I likely spend way too  much time thinking.  I felt more refreshed this morning, though.  But I’m still not in the mood to get caught up on work stuff, which means tomorrow will be a day to push myself instead.

Today, is an ATG day.  I’m meeting a friend to talk about a potential Asst. Editor slot.  And I’ve yet to write my column.  And I have some header images I need to pull as well.

But the SUN is shining today.  And I also need to feel the sun on my face a little.
