When X leads to Y
by dsmouse ~ January 4th, 2008. Filed under: Just....Stuff.Well, my dad is going home from the hospital today. His heart stuff looks good - arteries are clear…stint is still in place. What kept him in the hospital was some breathing issues. He has fluid on his lungs, and did a CT scan to see what was going on with that.
Four “nodules” appeared…but upon examination it is a series of tiny spots. He needs to go back in two weeks to evaluate the growth of those. He had previously been diagnosed with emphysema….so it’s either that has advanced, or else it’s cancer. Doc told him if it’s cancer, it’s small and very treatable at this stage.
As it stands, my mom is not dealing well. My sister is not dealing well. My dad is in great spirits. Typical Daddy…laughing at life…
I’m ok. I am heading home today and will be home until Monday.
