I’ve been a Tarot.Com subscriber to my horoscope for the last 5 or 6 years. I’m one of those skeptical believers, if that makes sense.

For today:

Do whatever it takes now to fulfill the promises you made. Over the next few weeks, the Sun in your 10th House of Status can emphasize your obligations at home, in the community and at work. But doing your job well is not your only goal; you want to be recognized for your contribution. Restraining your personal desires for a while may be necessary so you can meet your responsibilities.

I had already dedicated this weekend to getting some things caught up. I spent the bulk of my day yesterday writing and working on projects for ATG. I also blogged, for the first time in ages, on my business site. I read one novel (that I’m reviewing) yesterday…and read the chapter of another before I went to bed. I got a ton of things completed yesterday, which is fabulous, but…..I need to focus in on work even more today as I have a very long list of tasks I was hoping to accomplish by 9 AM on Monday. I have those work obligations as well as giving my word to Lorissa that I would have some projects in draft form for her to review this weekend.

Tomorrow’s horoscope just stopped me in my tracks. See, one of the things I did yesterday was write the draft of my column for February. The creative side of me, which has been incredibly rusty over the last couple of years, has been yelling in my ear. Pink Nighties is an extension of that creativity, though I am relying heavily on the talents of others to pull it together.

I’ve also talked at length (mostly to Lee) about my desire to take a week and just write. I’ve been given the offer of a friend’s cabin on the Chesapeake Bay - for a week or more. He’s promised to stock the fridge, give me a car to drive, and leave me in peace with the cabin (and the excavator should I desire some outdoor activity like pulling up tree stumps )

Anyhoo….my horoscope for tomorrow….

You are ready to harness your creativity and make it work for you. This is not just a one-day project; it could be your main focus through the rest of the year. Even if you are waiting for a more opportune time to put your lofty plans into motion, at least use today to solidify your dreams. If an idea receives your approval, chances are that it’s worth pursuing.

Seizing the day tomorrow creatively is not only speaking to me, but is screaming in my ears….. It’s kinda freaky. See, I had a reading from a psychic who pointed out some “power” days to me, which he took to be financial. And they still could be. But I’m wondering if he really read the power days where my creativity is going to click and it’s going to lead me to the financial desires through that….

Well, no matter - we will see. And in the meantime, I want to take a glance through the Sunday paper….fortify myself with some breakfast…and then get to work….
